Helena Zemankova

Ingegnere ed architetto, è professore al Dipartimento di Design della Facoltà di Architettura dell’Università Tecnologica di Brno, nella Repubblica Ceca.
La sua specializzazione sono la protezione, il restauro, la conservazione, la gestione e la valorizzazione del patrimonio culturale, anche nell’insegnamento all’interno di corsi di master e dottorato in differenti paesi europei.
Insegna studio del design alla facoltà di Architettura per studenti della Repubblica Ceca e per stranieri.
E‘ stata professore si invito e ha partecipato a corsi in numerose università europee, inoltre è stata invitata  come esperta della materia in Giappone per la candidatura del complesso manifatturiero di Tomioka.
La lista dei suoi interventi in occasione di inaugurazioni, conferenze internazionali, seminari è assai lunga. Ella ha inoltre partecipato a progetti di ricerca, europei e non, e pubblicato libri e articoli su queste tematiche che costituiscono la sua specialità.
Membro fondatore di un gruppo europeo di interesse economico basato in Francia, Koinetwork geie, Helena Zemankova è anche membro di numerose organizzazioni internazionali come Herity in Italia, di comitati scientifici di riviste internazionali, come la rivista Patrimoine de l’industrie/Industrial Patrimony pubblicata da TICCIH, ICOMOS e Koinetwork geie.

HELENA ZEMÁNKOVÁ, Prof. Eng. Arch. PhD., is a professor at the Department of Design at the Faculty of Architecture, Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic.
Her specialization is in Protection, Rescue, Conversion, and Management and Appreciation of Cultural Heritage, obtaining degrees, and Master and Doctoral degree in such subjects around Europe.   
She holds courses and leads the design studio at Faculty of Architecture for both Czech and foreign students.
She has lectured and taught as a guest lecturer in several European universities and municipalities, and as an expert for World Industrial Heritage in Japan.
She has held many interventions, lectures, exhibitions at international conferences, seminars, public forums and she has organized several Research Projects with foreign participants, also publishing papers, books and articles about the subjects of her specializations.
She is a member of international organizations: International HERITY Committee Rome, Italy, Scientific Committee of International review TICCIH, Industrial Patrimony and Koinetwork g.e.i.e. (Agency for the Internationalization of Cultures and Enterprises) Paris, France.
